The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, on 18th February 2021, at the APGA Secretariats, declared his ambition to contest the Anambra gubernatorial election scheduled to hold on the 6th November 2021. He made the declaration under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the ruling party in Anambra State. Accompanied by many political stalwarts and some House of Assembly members, he promised to enhance the good works of Governor Willy Obiano.
