Nigerians may soon witness a sharp increment in the price of petroleum products. Mele Kyari, the Group General Manager of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), has revealed during his briefing at the State House in Abuja, that NNPC subsidized petroleum product monthly with about N120 billion, which he lamented was below the cost of importation, and evidently sapping the government. He noted that Nigerians should be ready to pay the actual cost which could be around 230 naira per litre.
