False Rumours: AMCON did not seize Toke Makinwa’s Banana Island house

Ms. Toke Makinwa, a celebrated media personality, has denied that Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) had taken over her house in Banana Island, Ikoyi.

Since 27th July 2020, there were false rumours circulating the internet that her house in Banana Island, purported to have been given to her by her male lover, has been confiscated by AMCON.

In denying that, the management team of Toke Makinwa, in a press release, said that “Ms. Toke Makinwa “is the sole owner of her residence in Ikoyi.”

The team said that her “lawyers have been contacted and legal action will be taken against the originators of this story.”

Toke Makinwa is a 35 year old hardworking vlogger, author, entrepreneur and media expert. There is no doubt that the false rumours against her Banana Island house were intended to humiliate and tarnish her personality.
