Dr. Li Wenliang, the medical doctor that first alerted the world about the outbreak of Coronavirus at Wuhan, China, was remembered on 7th February 2021, after one year he died as a result of that deadly virus he contracted from a patient suffering from covid 19.
It should be remembered that Dr. Wenliang was rebuked for spreading rumours by the Chinese police command when he whistle-blew about coronavirus in China. It was when the Chinese government realized the adversity of the virus after many records of dead Chinese, and outburst of the Chinese people that Dr. Wenliang was honoured for his patriotism.
Since his death till date, coronavirus has put the world on bended knee. More than 2 million people have died of it, and over 100 million people infected by the virus. Although the vaccines to fight the virus have been founded, the pandemic is yet to abate in the world.
