Nigerians woke up this morning to hear that 279 Zamfara students from Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe, Talata Mafara Local Government Area, Zamfara State, abducted on 27th February, 2021, have been released from captivity. Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State who received the exhausted schoolgirls at the Zamfara government house Gusau, confirmed that no ransom was paid, but were freed with the aid of the repentant bandits.
