TINUBU VS EFCC: Furnish us with “information of Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu,” writes EFCC

It is becoming obvious that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is making effort to probe Bola Tinubu, former governor of Lagos State and one of the leaders of All Progressives Congress. EFCC was said to have written a letter titled CR/3000/EFCC/LS/Vol4/322 to the Code of Conduct Bureau on 6th November, 2020, demanding the duplicates of Tinubu’s asset declaration form. The letter was allegedly signed by Abdulrasheed Bawa, the then EFCC Lagos zonal head, that is currently the Chairman of the EFCC, pursuant to Section 38(1) and (2) of the EFCC Act 2004. “In view of the above, you are kindly requested to furnish the commission with the outstanding requested information of Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu,” as contains in the letter provided by the Peoples Gazette.
