AFRICANS SHOULD TAKE DATA SERIOUSLY: “Our lack of interest in Data costs us a lot,” Ezekwesili says

The former Nigerian Minister of Education and Vice President of World Bank, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, has hinted that lack of data in the administration and management of the African resources is a major problem affecting the continent.

She tweeted that “one critical thing I hope that Africans in general will come to value is the power of Data. Whatever is not measured cannot be fully understood nor missed. Our lack of interest in Data costs us a lot. Worse is that it empowers blissful ignorance.”
