Following a complaint to the Police State Command in Ebonyi State, the State Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Garba, has ordered the arrest of one Professor Anyaegbulam, a professor of Geophysics in the Alex Ekwueme Federal University in Ndufu-Alike, for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old girl said to be his house girl and daughter of his gateman.
As of this report, Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Loveth Odah, stated that an investigation is ongoing to unravel the allegation.
