FORMER LESOTHO PRIME MINISTER ALLEGEDLY MURDERED HIS WIFE: “I am not guilty,” Thabane says

The 82-year-old Thomas Thabane, who was the Prime Minister of Lesotho, a country landlocked by South Africa has been charged for murdering his former wife Lipolelo Thabane in 2017.

He was pressured to resign his position as Lesotho’s Prime Minister in May 2020 after he was linked to the killing. Prior to that, his new wife, Maesaiah, had been investigated and charged to court for having a hand in the murder.

However, both of them have denied guilt and were released on bail.
