A 43-year-old Brian Bourgeois, who was commander of the US Navy’s SEAL Team 8 has died at Norfolk Sentara General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia, of the serious injury he sustained during their tactical training in Virginia Beach, US.
The information was disclosed by Rear Adm. H.W. Howard III, the commander of the Naval Special Warfare Command. In his words, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the Bourgeois family — and we will ensure our community remains in support of and relationship with Brian’s family and his children, for life.”
