History was made in Nnobi town on 1st January 2023, when Nnobians celebrated Ofala festival, which is a rich cultural heritage. It was an epochal event which marked the 6th ofala, 84th birthday and 15 years on the throne of His Royal Majesty Igwe Muodum Nich (Igwe Omenyili Nnobi). The ceremony attracted people from all walks of life and different social strata. It was indeed a never-to-be-forgotten festival.
It is a dream come true for Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State as the leadership of Igbo people living in Lagos State unanimously agreed to support his reelection scheduled to hold on 11th March 2023.
Today will go down in history as the memorable day Queen Elizabeth II, who reigned from 1952 to 2022, is buried in the royal vault at the King George VI Memorial Chapel in Windsor Castle, to rest majestically in peace beside her loving husband, Prince Philip.

In essence, he prohibited “all Catholics (clergy, religious and lay faithful) henceforth from attending all religious and liturgical activities of the Catholic Adoration Ministry until the due canonical process initiated by the Diocese is concluded.”
If a soothsayer had told the 58-year-old Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State that Peoples Democratic Party would paddle him into excruciating hibernation, after expending energy and resources to sustain and strengthen the opposition party, he would not have believed.
