A 30-year-old American professional R&B singer, Courtney Shanade Salter popularly known as Ari Lennox has been arrested by the Dutch police at Amsterdam Schiphol airport, on the allegation that she was drunk, and acting like a “woman full of emotions that would not calm down. That’s why she had to be taken into custody,” said Robert van Kapel, a police spokesman.
Meanwhile, Lennox has denied the allegation via Twitter: “I’m being arrested in Amsterdam for reacting to a woman racially profiling me,” because she is black. “I just want to go home. I’ll never leave my house again. Wow. They’re arresting me,” Lennox wrote.
