The 40-year-old Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, at the United Kingdom Court of Appeal, has won a dragged-out privacy invasion battle against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL), the publisher of The Mail on Sunday due to the publication of her father’s letter that she wrote.
Following Duchess’s litigation which commenced in October 2019, the UK High Court of Justice ruled in her favour in February 2021. Four months later, ANL appealed against the rule but was dismissed in favour of the Duchess of Sussex.
