In what appears to be one of the costliest divorce settlements order in a court in the United Kingdom, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, has been charged to pay his ex-wife Princess Haya bint al-Hussein about £500 million ($728 million).
The costs will cover the welfare and security of Princess Haya and the two children of Sheikh Mohammed – Al Jalila Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Zayed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
