Information reaching basklifenews from many reliable sources is that the APC direct primary election in different wards in Anambra State has not started, and there is no indication that it will commence soon.
The election was scheduled to commence by 9 am, with accreditation to start at 10 am and close by 2 pm in all the accredited centers. Voting proper is to start by 2 pm and end by 4 pm.
However, none of the above have been done as we are filing this report. None of the election officers have been seen at the election centers. Many voters that came to vote as early as 8 am are seen here and there battling with the scourging sun, with no explanation for the reason of delay in commencement of the election. Some voters are beginning to sense foul play yet to be confirmed.
If simple party direct primary election has not started by this period 3.10 pm, we wonder when it will start.
