The 21-year-old Budding disc jockey, Michelle Abesin, aka DJ Michelle, has given an account of the incident that nearly took her life.
We should remember that on 18th November 2021, DJ Michelle was swept away by ocean waves when she went for a funfair with her friends at Lafiaji beach, Epe, Lagos State, but miraculously brought back to the shore and rescued by a passerby.
In her appreciation letter dated 27th November 2021, she stated:
“On the 18th of November I had a near death experience that literally changed my life completely. I got carried away by water and that’s the last of what I remembered.”
She also appreciated her rescuer and all her supportive fans longing to hear from her.
