Gorgeously looking Kim Kardashian dazzled the audience as she was introduced to the stage by Tracee Ellis Ross, to receive the Fashion Icon award at the 2021 E! People’s Choice Awards.
As the audience was applauding her brilliant apparel, she gushed, “Oh my gosh to be receiving this award from a fashion icon herself, Tracee, I am so honored.
“I am honestly so humbled to be here. I started off as a closet organizer and a stylist, so the fact that I am winning a fashion icon award — it’s like a pinch-me moment. I have those every single day that designers are willing to work with me.”
She acknowledged the role of Kanye West in exposing her to the fashion world. In her words, “thank you to Kanye, even, for really introducing me to the fashion world.” Such drew spontaneous applies from the crowd.
“I fell in love with fashion and I’m so inspired by so many people. This is like a dream that I get to wake up and wear these amazing clothes and try new things.”
