The surviving members of the young gymnasts sexually abused by the former gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar have reached a $380 million financial agreement with USA Gymnastics and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee as a final settlement.
Added to the settlement plan were the “significant non-monetary commitments from USA Gymnastics focused on athlete safety and wellness.”
Meanwhile, the USAG President and CEO, Li Li Leung, had stated that “USA Gymnastics is deeply sorry for the trauma and pain that Survivors have endured as a result of this organization’s actions and inactions.”
