History will be made tomorrow 17th June 2023, when the State of New Jersey, the Garden State of America will open its gate of hospitality to Nnobi people from all walks of life for an annual convention at Holiday Inn, Newark International Airport North, 160a Frontage Road, NJ 07114.
The convention calls for deep reflection on the growth and development of Nnobi. The climax of it will be a fund-raising event with the theme: “Seeking, Mobilizing, & Integrating, Available Resources to Produce Sustainable Educational & Healthcare Solutions In Nnobi.”
As today pales into a glorious evening, the home of Professor Ferdinand Ofodile will be the centre of entertainment for the delegates and guests that journeyed from far and near to be part of the epoch-making event. It will be a gorgeous and splendid hangout – a reminiscence of Egwu Onwa (moonlight play) of the old.
The Igwe of Nnobi, HRM Engr. Muodum N. Obi (Igwe Omenyili Nnobi) and some stunning High Chiefs will grace the event. It will be a never-to-be-forgotten experience. The Chief International Manager of NNOBI HERITAGE MAGAZINE will make the best-selling annual magazine available for the guests. It is a magazine that promotes the heritage, treasures, and traditions of Nnobi town, and upholds the dignity of the Nnobi people.
